The Fitzgerald Foundation is a non-for-profit foundation established in memory of Ben Fitzgerald, his strength and courage, to support young brain tumour sufferers.

The Foundation acknowledges the significant incidence of brain cancer, the considerable lack of general funding in this area and a need to create a greater support network for young sufferers.

Its aim is to make a real difference in the quality of life of young brain cancer sufferers and work towards one day finding a cure for this insidious disease.

RUN MELBOURNE The Fitzgerald Foundation invites you to become more than a witness on June 28nd 2009, by joining us in RUN Melbourne. Help support and raise much needed funds for young brain cancer sufferers and their families.

RUNNING ON THE DAY - To gain your race number, time tag etc. you will need to OFFICIALLY register with Run Melbourne - register to run here. To choose the Fitzgerald Foundation as your charity, simply enter “Fitzgerald Foundation” to search & select. Once you have registered you can create your very own “hero” sponsorship page and list your fundraising target.
